The Staunton Bulldogs softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Pana Panthers to 9 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Staunton improves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host Gillespie (Gillespie, IL) to clash with the Miners in a South Central game on Friday, April 14. The Miners come into the game with a record of 8-1. Gillespie won 6-3 in their recent non-league game against O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Greenville Comets (Greenville, IL) in a South Central game, on Friday, April 14. Pana will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Comets come into the game with a 3-12 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Litchfield (Litchfield, IL).
