The Northwestern Lehigh Tigers baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Palisades Pirates to 2 in the Tigers league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA). The Panthers go into the Colonial match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Saucon Valley was overwhelmed by Wilson Area (Easton, PA), 10-7, in a league match.
The Pirates (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA). The Spartans go into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Southern Lehigh gained a win over Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA), 9-5, in a non-league match.

Northwestern started very fast Thursday afternoon, en route to their 5th win in a row, with a 13-2 conference win over Palisades. The Tigers scored 8 runs in the first inning, highlighted by a grand slam from J Augustus, and also a 2-run HR by E Zimmerman. That would be more than enough runs for the N'western on this day.
