The St. Edward Green Wave baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Woodstock Blue Streaks to 5 in the Green Wave non-league victory on Thursday.
The Green Wave (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Elgin Academy (Elgin, IL). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Elgin Academy edged Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL), 13-3, in a non-league match.
The Blue Streaks (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Lakes (Lake Villa, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 10-3 record. In their last match, Lakes edged Round Lake (Round Lake, IL), 23-4, in a league match.
