The Columbus Blue Steel held off the visiting DeWitt Clinton Governors volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Blue Steel now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Truman for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 16. Columbus will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Monroe Campus (Bronx, NY). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-5.
The Governors (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Walton (Bronx, NY). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Walton held off Bronx High School of Science (Bronx, NY), 2-0, in a non-league test.
