Spectators at Thursday's non-league test between the Elizabeth Minutemen (Elizabeth, NJ) and the host Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ), witnessed Elizabeth's volleyball team run past Plainfield by a score of 2-0.
The Minutemen now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union City for a non-league test on Friday, April 12. Elizabeth will confront a Soaring Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league win over North Bergen (North Bergen, NJ). The Soaring Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
The Cardinals (0-3) will now prepare for their test against New Brunswick (New Brunswick, NJ). The Zebra enter the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, New Brunswick gained a win over Keyport (Keyport, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league test.
