In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Lyons Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Willowbrook Warriors.
The Lions (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Sandburg achieved victory over Lake Park (Roselle, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Warriors clash with the Hinsdale Central Red Devils (Hinsdale, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 16. Willowbrook will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Red Devils come into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Oswego (Oswego, IL).
