Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Menchville Monarchs (Newport News, VA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors confront the Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 16. Nansemond River will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA).

The Monarchs now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Gloucester for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16.
