The Crestwood Comets lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the visiting Hazleton Area Cougars to 2 in the Comets league win on Thursday.

The Comets (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Emmaus (Emmaus, PA). The Hornets go into the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Emmaus prevailed over Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA), 18-3, in a non-league game.

The Cougars (0-3) will now prepare for their game against North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Trojans go into the Wyoming Valley game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, North Pocono prevailed over Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 13-2, in a league game.
