Keene Blackbirds (Keene, NH) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Spaulding Red Raiders (Rochester, NH), 23-7 in a league battle.

The Blackbirds now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Brattleboro for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 13.

In their next game, the Red Raiders clash with the Oyster River Bobcats (Durham, NH) in a Division II battle, on Friday, April 12. Spaulding will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Bobcats come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 13-5 league loss to Hollis-Brookline (Hollis, NH).
