The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY) and the host Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY), saw Minisink Valley's lacrosse team overcome Valley Central by a margin of 12-5.

The Warriors (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY). The Silver Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Niskayuna edged Shaker (Latham, NY), 8-5, in a league challenge.

The Vikings (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Dragons enter the Section 9 B Division II challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Cornwall Central edged Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY), 9-8, in a non-league challenge.
