Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South Meteors (Calumet City, IL), 5-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Argonauts face the Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 13. Argo will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Mountain Lions enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Victoria Soto (Chicago, IL).

The Meteors now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Willows Academy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South will face a Eagles team coming off a 1-0 league win over Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.
