The Salem Spartans soccer team scored 5 points and limited the visiting Rockbridge County Wildcats to 3 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.

Next, the Spartans face the Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA) in a River Ridge contest, on Friday, April 12. Salem will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA).

The Wildcats now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host William Monroe for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 16.
