The Altamont Longhorns softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting North Summit Braves to 8 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Altamont moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Longhorns host Utah Military Academy - Hill Field (Riverdale, UT) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 16. The Thunderbirds come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Braves clash with the South Summit Wildcats (Kamas, UT) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 25. North Summit will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record.
