Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Vallivue Falcons (Caldwell, ID), 18-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Mavericks now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boise for a challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Mountain View will battle a Brave squad coming off a 22-4 league loss to Middleton (Middleton, ID). The Brave record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Vallivue falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Emmett (Emmett, ID) to battle the Huskies in a challenge on Saturday, April 13. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Emmett won 19-2 in their recent league challenge against Caldwell (Caldwell, ID)
