The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO) and the host Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), saw Battle Mountain's lacrosse team achieve victory over Mullen by a margin of 10-4.

The Huskies (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO). The Devils enter the 4A Western challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Eagle Valley edged Aspen (Aspen, CO), 7-5, in a league challenge.

The Mustangs (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Golden (Golden, CO). The Demons enter the 4A Foothills challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Golden edged Eaglecrest (Centennial, CO), 8-5, in a non-league challenge.
