The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) and the host Deering Rams (Portland, ME), saw Thornton Academy's lacrosse team top Deering by a margin of 16-6.

The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Gorham (Gorham, ME). The Rams enter the Class A challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Gorham beat Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME), 6-5, in a non-league challenge.

The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Falmouth (Falmouth, ME). The Navigators enter the Class A challenge with a 1-1 record.
