In Thursday's league contest, the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) lacrosse squad edged the visiting Handley Judges (Winchester, VA), by a count of 6-5.
Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA) in a Northwestern contest, on Monday, April 15. Meridian will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 14-7 non-league win over Heritage (Leesburg, VA).
The Judges now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hedgesville for a WVSLA -DII East contest on Saturday, April 13. Handley will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 18-9 league win over Strasburg (Strasburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-2.
