Spring Mills Cardinals (Martinsburg, WV) followers exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Jefferson County Wild (Shenandoah Junction, WV), 8-5 in a non-league battle.

The Cardinals now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martinsburg for a WVSLA -DI East battle on Tuesday, April 16. Spring Mills will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-9 non-league win over Strasburg (Strasburg, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.

In their next game, the Wild clash with the Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) in a WVSLA -DII East battle, on Saturday, April 13. Jefferson County will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 0-5 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV).
