The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) and the visiting Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA), saw Mount Vernon's lacrosse team gain a win over Lewis by a margin of 6-4.

The Majors (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Edison (Alexandria, VA). The Eagles enter the National challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Edison was nudged by Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA), 7-2, in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Annandale (Annandale, VA). The Atoms enter the National challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Annandale was nudged by Justice (Falls Church, VA), 17-5, in a league challenge.
