Jefferson Yellowjackets (Council Bluffs, IA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Missouri Valley Big Reds (Missouri Valley, IA), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets confront the Bellevue East Chieftains (Bellevue, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 12. Jefferson will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Chieftains enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to The Platte (Plattsmouth, NE).

The Big Reds now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside for a Western Iowa challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Missouri Valley will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to East Sac County (Lake View, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
