Georgia High School Soccer - Upson-Lee knocks off Skipstone Academy

Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Skipstone Academy Warriors (Griffin, GA), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Knights face the Luella Lions (Luella, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 12. Upson-Lee will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Monroe Area (Monroe, GA).
The Warriors now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Creekside Christian Academy for a GAPPS I-AA Region 3 challenge on Monday, April 15. Skipstone Academy will face a Cougars team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Konos Academy (Fayetteville, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-8.
