The Bureau Valley Storm softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts to 5 in the Storm non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Bureau Valley moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Storm travel to Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL) to clash with the Rockets in a Three Rivers West game on Saturday, April 13. The Rockets come into the game with a record of 10-2. Rockridge won 6-3 in their recent league game against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL)

In their next game, the Grey Ghosts clash with the Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL) in a Illini Prairie game, on Friday, April 12. Illinois Valley Central will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 5-4 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Herscher (Herscher, IL).
