Charleston Tigers (Charleston, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ozark Hillbillies (Ozark, AR), 10-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hackett for a 3A Region 4 challenge on Friday, April 12.

With the loss, Ozark falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Hillbillies travel to Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR) to battle the Cobras in a 4A Region 4 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Cobras enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Fountain Lake won 18-8 in their recent league challenge against Waldron (Waldron, AR)
