Natick Redhawks (Natick, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Medfield Warriors (Medfield, MA), 18-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Redhawks now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Wellesley for a Bay State - Herget challenge on Friday, April 12. Natick will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 16-2 non-league win over Waltham (Waltham, MA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Medfield falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Hopkinton (Hopkinton, MA) to battle the Hillers in a Tri-Valley challenge on Monday, April 22. The Hillers enter the challenge with a record of 3-1.
