Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines (Wadena, MN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pine River-Backus Tigers (Pine River, MN), 14-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolverines now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pillager for a Park Region test on Thursday, April 11.

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Staples-Motley (Staples, MN). The Cardinals come into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Staples-Motley was routed by Aitkin (Aitkin, MN), 13-3, in a league test.
