Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME), witnessed Taft's softball squad tip Skowhegan by a count of 6-0.

The Eagles now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Station Camp for a non-league match on Friday, April 12. Taft will face a Bison squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA). The Bison record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Skowhegan moves to 0-2 on the season. The River hawks host Camden Hills (Rockport, ME) to face the Windjammers in a Class A North match on Saturday, April 20. The Windjammers go into the match with a record of 0-0.
