Virginia High School Softball - South Lakes bounces Yorktown

April 11, 2024: Arlington, VA 22207

The South Lakes Seahawks routed the host Yorktown Patriots softball squad by a final score of 10-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Seahawks (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Westfield (Chantilly, VA). The Bulldogs go into the Concorde battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Westfield was routed by James Madison (Vienna, VA), 4-0, in a league battle.

The Patriots now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to West Springfield for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 13. Yorktown will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-5.
