The St. Francis Troubadours softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Woodcreek Timberwolves to 8 in the Troubadours non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, St. Francis improves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Troubadours travel to Franklin (Elk Grove, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a Delta League game on Friday, April 12. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 6-9. Franklin lost 12-6 in their recent league game against Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA)

In their next game, the Timberwolves clash with the Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 15. Woodcreek will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 9-7 record after their 9-2 non-league win over West Campus (Sacramento, CA).
