The West Broward Bobcats (Pembroke Pines, FL) softball routed the visiting Taravella Trojans (Coral Springs, FL), 16-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Bobcats (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Lauderdale (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Flying L's enter the non-league challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Fort Lauderdale was routed by Coral Springs Charter (Coral Springs, FL), 8-3, in a non-league challenge.

With the loss, Taravella falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Stoneman Douglas (Parkland, FL) to face the Eagles in a 7A District 14 challenge on Monday, April 15. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 10-6. Stoneman Douglas won 11-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Keys Gate (Homestead, FL)
