Wolcott RVT Wildcats (Torrington, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Whitney RVT Owls (Hamden, CT), 26-11 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to O'Brien RVT for a Connecticut Tech challenge on Friday, April 12. Wolcott RVT will battle a Condors squad coming off a 11-7 non-league win over Shelton (Shelton, CT). The Condors record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Whitney RVT falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Owls host Kaynor Tech (Waterbury, CT) to battle the Panthers in a Connecticut Tech challenge on Friday, April 12. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Kaynor Tech won 14-0 in their recent league challenge against Whitney RVT (Hamden, CT)
