The Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ) baseball trounced the visiting ALA - Gilbert North Eagles (Gilbert, AZ), 8-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Coyotes now own a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Notre Dame Prep for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 14. Centennial will clash with a Saints team coming off a 14-8 non-league loss to Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ). The Saints record now stands at 8-13.
With the defeat, ALA - Gilbert North drops to 12-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to Crismon (Queen Creek, AZ) to clash with the Rattlers in a 4A East Sky challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Rattlers go into the challenge with a record of 17-3.
