The Gateway Gators baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Armstrong River Hawks to 5 in the Gators non-league win on Friday.

The Gators now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Kiski Area for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. Gateway will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 6-4 league loss to Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-7.

With the defeat, Armstrong drops to 4-6 on the year. The River hawks travel to Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a WPIAL 4A 4 test on Monday, April 14. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 1-7. Kiski Area won 13-1 in their recent non-league test against Gateway (Monroeville, PA)
