In Friday's non-league game, the host Baker/Powder Valley Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 13-6 victory over the Weiser Wolverines.
The Bulldogs (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Pendleton (Pendleton, OR). The Buckaroos enter the 4A Greater Oregon game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Pendleton held off Ontario (Ontario, OR), 15-2, in a league game.
Next, the Wolverines face the Homedale Trojans (Homedale, ID) in a 4A Snake River Valley game, on Monday, April 14. Weiser will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 12-4 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Buhl (Buhl, ID).
