Arizona High School Baseball - Safford nips Benjamin Franklin

In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Safford Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Benjamin Franklin Chargers.

The Bulldogs (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Payson (Payson, AZ). The Longhorns go into the non-league game with a 9-8 record. In their last game, Payson was tipped by Chinle (Chinle, AZ), 11-2, in a non-league game.

Next, the Chargers play the Mogollon Mustangs (Heber, AZ) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 12. Benjamin Franklin will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 13-3 record after their 15-12 non-league loss to Phoenix Christian (Phoenix, AZ).
