In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Norman Tigers baseball team scored a close 10-4 win over the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish.
The Tigers (11-9) will now prepare for their game against Northwest Classen (Oklahoma City, OK). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 8-9 record. In their last game, Northwest Classen nudged Grant (Oklahoma City, OK), 12-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Fighting Irish play the Woodward Boomers (Woodward, OK) in a 4A District 4 game, on Tuesday, April 15. Bishop McGuinness will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Boomers go into the game with a 7-14 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Duncan (Duncan, OK).
