Georgia High School Baseball - Hillgrove holds off Centennial

In Friday's non-league game, the host Hillgrove Hawks baseball team scored a close 6-2 win over the Centennial Knights.

The Hawks (17-10) will now prepare for their game against Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Longhorns go into the non-league game with a 6-19 record. In their last game, Lanier was overwhelmed by Milton (Milton, GA), 4-1, in a league game.

Next, the Knights play the Chattahoochee Cougars (Alpharetta, GA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 12. Centennial will attempt to improve on its 6-20 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 9-14 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Mount Pisgah Christian (Johns Creek, GA).
