The Willow Springs Bears baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Climax Springs Cougars to 2 in the Bears non-league win on Friday.

The Bears now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thayer for a Class 3 District 10 test on Monday, April 14. Willow Springs will play a Bobcats team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Mountain Grove (Mountain Grove, MO). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Climax Springs drops to 2-7 on the year. The Cougars host Pleasant Hope (Pleasant Hope, MO) to play the Pirates in a non-league test on Monday, April 14. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 2-6. Pleasant Hope won 18-1 in their recent non-league test against Humansville (Humansville, MO)
