The Ferndale Wildcats (Ferndale, CA) baseball trounced the visiting Round Valley Mustangs (Covelo, CA), 18-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host South Fork for a Little 7 challenge on Tuesday, April 15. Ferndale will clash with a Cubs team coming off a 14-0 league loss to St. Bernard's (Eureka, CA). The Cubs record now stands at 3-7.
With the defeat, Round Valley drops to 0-1 on the year.
