The Winnetonka Griffins baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Fort Osage Indians to 0 in the Griffins non-league win on Friday.

The Griffins now own a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host North Kansas City for a non-league test on Monday, April 14. Winnetonka will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 25-0 non-league win over Northeast (Kansas City, MO). The Hornets record now stands at 3-11.

With the defeat, Fort Osage drops to 5-10 on the year. The Indians travel to Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO) to clash with the Panthers in a Class 6 District 7 test on Saturday, April 12. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 7-6. Raymore-Peculiar won 10-7 in their recent non-league test against Sherwood (Creighton, MO)
