The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Roxbury Latin Foxes (West Roxbury, MA) and the visiting Middlesex (Concord, MA), saw Roxbury Latin's baseball team knock off Middlesex by a count of 8-1.

The Foxes now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thayer Academy for a Independent School challenge on Monday, April 14. Roxbury Latin will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 7-3 league loss to St. Sebastian's School (Needham, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Middlesex drops to 2-4 on the year. The travel to Rivers (Weston, MA) to clash with the Red Wings in a Independent School challenge on Monday, April 14. The Red Wings go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Rivers lost 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Austin Prep (Reading, MA)
