The Salome Frogs baseball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting Monument Valley Mustangs to 0 in the Frogs non-league win on Friday.
The Frogs now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Carlos for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. Salome will play a Braves team coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Greyhills Academy (Tuba City, AZ). The Braves record now stands at 0-11.
With the defeat, Monument Valley drops to 2-14 on the year. The Mustangs travel to San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ) to play the Sabercats in a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. The Sabercats go into the test with a record of 2-13. San Tan Foothills lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ)
