The Comets come into the match with a record of 2-18. South Gwinnett lost 7-0 in their recent non-league match against Jackson County (Jefferson, GA)

The Mustangs now possess a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fellowship Christian for a A D1 Region 5 match on Tuesday, April 15. Mount Vernon will battle a Paladins squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Norcross (Norcross, GA). The Paladins record now stands at 16-6.
