In Friday's non-league game, the visiting St. Charles Pirates baseball team scored a close 8-7 win over the St. Clair Bulldogs.
The Pirates (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Hazelwood West (Hazelwood, MO). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 9-8 record. In their last game, Hazelwood West was tipped by Seckman (Imperial, MO), 9-0, in a non-league game.
