In Friday's league challenge, the host St. Mary's Knights volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Marcos de Niza Padres.

The Knights (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ). The Falcons enter the challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Cactus Shadows got by Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Padres meet the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) in a challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Marcos de Niza will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
