In Friday's non-league match, the St. John's Pioneers (Shrewsbury, MA) volleyball squad tipped the host Algonquin Regional Titans (Northborough, MA), by a count of 3-2.
Next up, the Pioneers battle the Boston College High Eagles (Boston, MA) in a Catholic match, on Monday, April 14. St. John's will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.
The Titans (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA). The Mountaineers enter the Midland Wachusett match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Wachusett Regional was tipped by Fitchburg (Fitchburg, MA), 3-2, in a league match.
