The Acalanes Dons lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the visiting Granada Matadors to 4 in the Dons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Dons now own a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Piedmont for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 15. Acalanes will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 16-15 league loss to Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Granada falls to 1-8 on the year. The Matadors travel to Livermore (Livermore, CA) to face the Cowboys in a East Bay - Valley outing on Tuesday, April 15. The Cowboys go into the outing with a record of 2-5. Livermore lost 17-4 in their recent league outing against Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA)
