In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Moorhead Spuds lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-7 triumph over the Mounds View Mustangs.
The Spuds (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Monticello (Monticello, MN). The Magic go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the East Ridge Raptors (Woodbury, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Mounds View will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Raptors go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN).
