The Mattoon Greenwave soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers to 1 in the Greenwave non-league victory on Friday.
The Greenwave now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Mahomet-Seymour for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 12. Mattoon will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Bradley-Bourbonnais moves to 7-4 on the year. The Boilermakers travel to Urbana (Urbana, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 12. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
