Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO) and the visiting Nerinx Hall Markers (Webster Groves, MO), saw Lafayette's soccer squad hold off Nerinx Hall by a count of 2-1.

The Lancers (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lutheran (St. Peters, MO). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Lutheran tipped Ritenour (Overland, MO), 8-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Markers confront the St. Dominic Crusaders (O'Fallon, MO) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 14. Nerinx Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Crusaders enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Helias (Jefferson City, MO).
