Spanish Fork Dons (Spanish Fork, UT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the host Payson Lions (Payson, UT), 6-4 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Spanish Fork advances its record to 5-4 on the season. The Dons travel to Timpview (Provo, UT) to play the Thunderbirds in a game on Friday, April 18. The Thunderbirds come into the game with a record of 0-5.
The Lions now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wasatch for a non-league game on Monday, April 14. Payson will play a Wasps team coming off a 17-2 non-league win over Sky View (Smithfield, UT). The Wasps record now stands at 8-0.
